H&M Nude

Hello loves! You don't know how happy I am that it's finally Saturday! This week has been very long and tiring for me with waking up early and going to sleep late because of the Olympics. I'm behind again on reading posts so I hope my fellow bloggers will forgive me for not commenting. The polish I'm showing today is more of a palate cleanser after the last colorful posts. There's also some nail art to follow with this as a base, but I wanted to do an individual post to properly review it since there's no info about it online.

H&M Nude indoors, artificial light
This came in a set of 3 mini's along with a gold glitter and a copper shimmer. It is literally called Nude so I'm not sure if it also comes as a full size or if it has a different name as a full size. Our H&M stores don't carry cosmetics and these were gifted to me by a friend who recently returned from Italy. I have mixed feelings about the H&M polishes. They have some nice colors but the formula is mostly thick. I was very impressed with this mini actually and wanted to share my thoughts on it.

H&M Nude in the sun
I would say this is the perfect nude shade for me because it's slightly darker than my skin, so it doesn't appear as if my nails were completely naked, but it still makes them look longer. It's more tan rather than peachy and I like the fact that despite it's warmth, it doesn't clash with my skin tone. The bottle is a mini and only holds 4.4 ml (0.14 fl oz.). I don't like buying mini's because I'm afraid I will run out of the polish too soon, but after one mani there's not a lot missing from the bottle and since I don't wear such a color too often, I don't think I will run out.

the bottle after 1 mani
I really like the formula of this polish. With 3 coats, it still shows a bit of visible nail line in the photo, but that is not evident in real life. It goes on very smooth and is not thick at all. Despite the small bottle, the brush has a decent size (similar to the Essie brush) and is very easy to work with. The square lid comes off to reveal a round cap with ridges, which makes for a better hold. It dries to a high shine and wouldn't need a top coat. I applied some to make it dry faster.

As I've said before, I'm very impressed with this polish and I think this is a great trio of neutrals. I've only swatched the others on a nail wheel and the copper shimmer seems to be a one coater. There's also another H&M polish I need to review, so stay tuned!

  4. They don't sell them here either. That's why I only get them from trips or when other people go away and bring me some back.

  6. Haha. I know, right?
I'm not a nude kind of girl either. I like how they look on but I get bored very fast. I immediately did some nail art over this.
