Hello fellow nail polish lovers! I don't know how it is where you live, but fall has taken over in my neck of the woods. The weather has been nothing but depressing the last few days.Today I have a double dose of pretty blues to make you feel better on this Monday. It's a manicure I enjoyed a lot because it was loaded with glitter. Let's take a look at the final result.

The base color for this manicure is GOSH Gypsy Blue, a gorgeous medium blue creme. I love the formula of GOSH polishes. This one is the second one I try and I had no trouble applying it. It was opaque in 2 coats and dried very very shiny. Here it is by itself.

I was really impressed by the glossy finish of this polish. The swatches are without any top coat. It also dries fast and has a good staying power. It's a great basic blue to have in your collection.

The glitter I layered over it is from Accessorize and it's the first polish I try from them. I was impressed by the formula of this as well. It consists of tiny blue glitter in a clear base with an added surprise: larger hex purple glitters. The glitter is really dense and I only needed one coat to achieve this look. You could probably get it opaque in about 3 coats if you would use it by itself. The only problem I had was with photographing the purple glitter which for some reason appeared blue in the sun photos and partially black in the artificial light photos I've included in this post. But I can assure you that all the larger glitters are bright purple in reality and that's what made this manicure so special.
