Hello lovely readers! How are you today? I'm having a long weekend so I'm trying to relax before I start studying for my exams. This month I will have to skip some of the nail art challenges I'm in because I'm really busy. Even if I have spare time I prefer to just sit and relax instead of working on crazy nail art. Today's post is about a grey polish that I wanted to get for a long time. I actually got it last month and I have no idea why I waited so much before wearing it. But finally, here it is.

Some of you might know how much I love grey polish. Well this one is hands down the best grey I own. Not only is it a gorgeous medium grey color, but it has a very subtle shimmer that gives it a green or blue sheen depending on the light. I really can't tell you what color this shimmer is, because it always seems different. All in all it gives this polish a different dimension and I just love it.

I wasn't a big fan of the formula of this polish. Lately it seems I'm not very lucky with my China Glaze polishes. This one was on the thicker side which made it a bit streaky and with a tendency to drag and create bald spots. Opacity is pretty good, but it does need 2 coats. I think a couple of drops of thinner would have made this perfect.

What I do like about this one is that the shimmer does not disappear on the nail. It's very subtle in the bottle, yet still present on the nail. Not like those polishes that look so pretty in the bottle and then disappoint upon application.

For me grey is the most elegant color to wear on your nails. I'm not a big fan of nude, so in terms of neutrals I prefer grey to any other color. That's why I'm so glad to own this polish and will definitely wear it again.
