Monday Blues: Color Club Blue Heaven

Hello my lovelies! How are you on this Monday? I've been away for the weekend, so I hope you can forgive me again for the lack of posts. I do hope that from today on I will have more time to catch up on my challenges, on my swatches and also to read and comment on my favorite blogs. In other news, snow has hit us hard this weekend and you might have seen some pictures if you follow me on Instagram. So to break all the blues of this Monday, and to forget about the long winter that's ahead of us, I decided to post an incredible holographic polish today. Are you ready?

This is my first linear holo polish, and of course it had to be blue. Finally one of the more widely available brands has come up with a true holographic collection. And they are very affordable. I got mine for about 7$ from Ebay, in case you are wondering. Blue Heaven is a slightly blue tinged linear holographic polish. It's a lighter blue, that looks almost silver, but is still amazing. The holo effect is truly unbelievable with this one and it's visible indoors too. In the sun, however, it looks breathtaking!

There's really nothing else I can say about this. Pictures speak for themselves.

In terms of application, it's not one of those holos that is impossible to apply evenly. It does have a tendency to drag on the first coat, so you should be a little careful to avoid bald spots. I used my regular base coat underneath it, so I don't think you need a special one in this case. 2 coats is all it takes to make it opaque and drying time is very very short.
