November favorites and haul

Hello my lovelies! Sorry for the lack of posts in the last days. I'm finally done with my exams and I'm already starting a new rotation tomorrow. Of course I'm trying to catch up with everything and do some nail art for the following challenges, but time is not on my side. Meanwhile, it's already December, so I'm showing you my favorite manis from this month. November has been a busy month for me and there wasn't a lot of nail art. There was a lot of purple because it was Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. Here's what I picked as favorites from last month.

Last month's Polish Days theme was MAN-icure and I did a helicopter themed mani that you can see in the middle. The top row shows my favorite purple manicures, one with holo glitter, one with Max Factor Fantasy Fire and a half moon manicure I did using only a-england polishes. I also included my blue ombre manicure and some glitter in the form of NYX Enchanted Forest

November has been pretty rich in purchases, partly because I got some early birthday presents for myself. I still think I did pretty well, considering I bought the same amount as last month (and some were gifts).

Nails Inc New York Navy Collection from Asos: Royal Arcade, Baker Street, Sloane Gardens and Motcomb Street
Models Own Mirror Ball Collection: Hot Stuff, Dancing Queen, Boogie Nights, Disco Inferno and Freak Out!

Color Club Blue Heaven and China Glaze Winter Holly
Essence Oh My Glitter!, Chic Reloaded and Midnight Date/City That Never Sleeps
From the local blogger meeting: ELF Light Pink, Benecos Expressive Mint and Flormar U32
I've already swatched some of these and the posts will be coming in the following week, so stay tuned!

  2. I have all the shades in Color Club Halo Hollos and agree - the blue one is stunning..I also have the China Glaze Ho Ho Holly - odd for me to pick up a glitter but this one is killer! It's a mirco fine milled one and it's opaque in nothing flat. I just am nuts for this latter one - it's like no other green I have - complex and pine green - will be able to wear it after I give up greens for a little while post the holiday end of this month. The Halo Holos are more for summer in my book - not feeling like wearing those shades now at all.

  4. I agree with you. The holos are more for the summer. But we do have some sun over here in the winter too. Only it doesn't last too much, like 2 hours every day. I'm definitely going to wear it more next summer.
The Winter Holly glitter is amazing! I wore it the day I got it, but I still have to post the swatches on the blog.
