Hello my lovelies! It's Friday and I found out yesterday that I have no classes today. I guess this week doesn't end as bad as it started. Today I want to show you a polish I like a lot. It has been talked about a lot but I still think it deserves a mention because it's totally awesome!

I don't buy OPI polishes usually, unless they are really unique colors or things I find deals on. This polish has been worshiped on a lot of nail blogs because it's the perfect base for nail art. White polish is usually hard to apply, it needs a million coats and ends up being streaky nonetheless. But this is amazing. I found a good deal for it on eBay and thought it was a sign. I decided to get it because I was surely gonna use it a lot.

My Boyfriend Scales Walls is a white creme with a tiny bit of grey in it. The fact that it's not stark white makes it less chalky and more wearable. White polish is hard on any skin tone but this actually looks good. The first coat goes on a bit streaky, but the second one levels everything out nicely. I did do a slightly thicker second coat than I usually do to make sure it was opaque. It dries fast and very shiny. These photos don't have any top coat, so you can definitely see the beauty of this polish by itself.

I'm so glad I got this polish! I've only had it for about 2 weeks and have already used it several times as a base for nail art. I find myself reaching for this extremely often. At this pace, I might even need a backup!
I love that shade! Once my ban is over I will have to get me it! Any other OPI's you recommend?

You should totally get it! It's great!
ReplyDeleteI don't have many OPI's, not even 10. My personal favorites are Mermaid's Tears (not sure where you can find it cause it's mostly sold out) and No Room For The Blues (this is a beautiful light blue, also older but I think it's still available in some places).
