p2 Wild Miss

Hello my loves! I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that this week is almost over. With the clocks changing because of daylight savings time, I've been falling asleep too late and waking up more and more tired every day. I didn't realize this would affect me so much but it did. I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow morning. Today's post is about a polish from a brand I've tried for the first time last week. p2 (it seems I'm supposed to write it with a lower case p) is a German brand that is very affordable and, of course, not available over here. My boyfriend has been kind enough to bring me a few bottles, including a textured one, which I'll be showing you soon as well. But first I want to talk about one of the cremes in the Volume Gloss line.

The Volume Gloss polishes come in a very cool square bottle that holds 12 ml of product. I really like the shape of this bottle, even though it's hard to hold for pictures and it takes plenty of space in the Helmer. These polishes are supposed to have a "gel look", which usually means high shine. Wild Miss is a green toned teal creme. It photographed more blue than green and I had to edit the pictures to make them look more close to reality. I still didn't get them perfect, but you can get an idea of the color anyway. The polish is indeed very glossy by itself. The next picture is without top coat. Look at that shine!

I liked the formula of this polish a lot. It's opaque enough that it could be a one coater if you are careful. What I did not like was the wide brush that makes the application tricky. It was because of the brush that I had to do 2 coats and lots of cleanup after the application. Of course the cleanup wasn't easy because the polish is quite dark and pigmented. It also seemed to dry slower than normal, so I added a coat of Seche Vite to make it dry faster.

I'm happy that I got to try some p2 polishes finally and I'm pleased to say that they didn't disappoint. They are a bargain and have great quality in spite of the low price they have. This color is gorgeous and of course I had to do some nail art over it, which I will show you tomorrow, so stay tuned!

  2. They are hard for me to get too! If only they could be purchased online somewhere. I'm totally hooked on this brand now!
