Minty Skittlette

Hello my lovelies and happy Sunday! I hope you are getting good weather where you are. It's been raining daily over here and it doesn't really feel like spring. The manicure I'm showing you today is the one I wore last weekend. We had some sun so I decided to mix a minty spring color with some holographic accents. Here's the result.

I started with a base of Nicole by OPI Alex By The Books, a new minty polish I got a few weeks ago. I know I own a lot of similar shades, but I just couldn't resist this beauty. It's the first NOPI polish I try and I'm in love with the formula. It needed 2 easy coats to be opaque and dries to a beautiful shine. The picture below is without top coat.

I'm not a fan of Modern Family, so my purchase didn't have anything to do with that. This polish is just the perfect shade of mint. I decided to pair it with China Glaze Atlantis, a holo glitter that I haven't used in ages. I used 2 coats of Atlantis on the ring finger and thumb. On the pointer I stamped with Kiko 401 and an image from plate BM-320. It's a very cool image because it looks like a water marble when in fact it's effortless stamping. Finally, the pinkie and middle finger have a simple black star rhinestone.

And here's how it looks in the sun. The holo glitter in Atlantis is amazing!

I have to admit that I'm not a big fan of this types of manicures. I usually do all nails the same or just an accent finger. It was fun to switch it up though. What do you think?
