Born Pretty Store Round Glequins Review

Hello lovelies! This week is turning out to be very busy for me. On top of school related stuff, I've had a couple of challenge posts to complete and now it's time for some nail art product reviews. I've talked about glequins before (click here to see the post, there's also a video tutorial included) and I know everyone enjoys them. We are all used to the hexagonal shape they have, but what if they were round? I was very excited to find some round ones on the Born Pretty Store website and naturally I had to try them out.

Born Pretty Store round glequins*

The round glitter pieces come in a pretty large pot that has 10 g of product in it, so there is no danger of running out, no matter how much you use them. They are silver and have a shiny finish, just like a mirror, so they reflect colors and look really pretty when the light hits them. You can find them here (they are pattern #1). Here's the nail art look I created with them.

I used one coat of Bondi NYPD as a base color for this look and then placed the glequins in a triangular shape at the base of the nail. Again, if you wanna know how I use these you can watch my video tutorial. The round glequins were very easy to use and I had no trouble with the placement. I finished the look with one coat of top coat to make everything extra shiny and leveled out.

The first pictures were taken in my light box, so the glequins look more silver. The next pictures are in direct light and that's how you can see the way they reflect everything like a mirror. I really love the effect they give on the nail.

If you like these, you can get them from here. Don't forget to use code MFL91 for an extra 10% off when you check out. Shipping is free.

Thanks for reading!
