Essence Life Is A Freeride

Hello my lovelies! The theme for today's untried challenge was "cool", which is perfect for me because most of the polishes I use are in the cool spectrum. This particular one comes from the Snow Jam collection from Essence and it's the only one in this collection that I haven't shown you yet. Of course in the meantime this collection got pretty hard to find but I hope you will still enjoy the beautiful polish.

Life Is A Freeride is a gorgeous teal with lots of shimmer in it. It's actually very hard to photograph because in most of my pictures it looks more blue than it really is. I tried to photograph it in all sorts of lights to get a better result. The next picture, although in pretty bad lighting, is the most accurate I could get.

The formula was ok with this polish. It needed 2 thin coats to be opaque. Although it's pigmented, I wouldn't call this a one coater. As usual, what you see in the pics is with a coat of Seche Vite on top.

After wearing it for a while on its own, I decided to do some stamping on top. I used China Glaze Liquid Leather and a geometrical image from plate CH14. It's a simple look and it didn't come out perfect but I still liked it.

Even though I have a few similar polishes in my collection, I still enjoy this one a lot. It's definitely a color I would wear in the summer, especially on my toes. To see more "cool" polishes, please check out the links below:
