Monday Blues: Avon Blue Water Lilies

Hello my lovelies! Another weekend has passed and I'm back with a beautiful blue. Today is actually a public holiday in my country but I have an exam tomorrow so I'm gonna be studying anyway. Hope at least some of my readers will be having fun. The polish I'm showing you today is my second Avon purchase of the month. I couldn't resist this shimmery blue when I saw it in the brochure so I had to have it.

Blue Water Lilies is a periwinkle polish that is packed with tiny gold shimmer. It's a bit lighter in real life than my pictures show. When I first got it a friend commented that I already have a similar polish in my collection, but the truth is I don't. The color is more blue than China Glaze Secret Peri-wink-le and more purple than Essence Goofy Blue. And don't get me started on that gold shimmer cause it's definitely very unique!

The formula was lovely and I got it opaque in 2 easy coats. I wore this for about 3 days without any chipping or tip wear, which makes me think that Avon have improved the formula of the Nailwear Pro+ range. Here's a direct light picture to show the shimmer better.

Isn't it lovely? I'm so glad I got this polish. I wasn't too crazy about Avon polishes in the past but the last two purchases have been amazing. That's all for this Monday Blues. If you wanna see more, please check out the links below!
