Monday Blues: Deborah Positano Escape

Hello lovely people! I hope this Monday isn't making you too grumpy. As I'm writing this it's still Sunday night and I've spent my afternoon in bed watching movies. At least this way I will get through Monday easier, hopefully. I wanted to swatch an amazing blue for this Monday Blues, but I ended up doing a mani I really love and don't want to take off. Luckily, I had something in my vault. It's good to enjoy a simple blue creme from time to time, right?

Your know me, I always like to try new brands out. I didn't have any Deborah Milano polishes in my stash, so when I found them on a local website I couldn't help but get one. The Pret A Porter collection comes in a mini bottle (I believe it's 4.5 ml) and has tons of colors. There are not many swatches online for these polishes so my choice was difficult. I ended up getting this teal blue creme, a color I've been obsessed with lately. Compared to my other teal blues, this one has the most blue in it. It was impossible to get it accurate in the photos, so I altered them a bit to make them show the true color.

The formula was good and it went on in 2 easy coats. The pigmentation is great, but what I've noticed while cleaning up my cuticles was that this polish stains, especially the skin around the nails. It was even worse when I removed it. So now I'm having doubts about wearing it again cause I'm afraid of the staining.

To conclude, I have a couple of announcements to make. First off, I'm so excited cause the lovely Gosia is back to Monday Blues today. She made it to the top of the world and now she's back with us mortals. Welcome! Secondly, I'm proud to present our very own banner, made by the talented Mandy

Doesn't it look cool? I love it so much! I have added it to my sidebar too. If you click it, you will be taken to the Google Doc with the Inlinkz codes for the next months. So if you wanna join Monday Blues, now you can. You just have to post a manicure involving blue on a Monday, add the widget to your blog post and then you can add your link to the widget. I hope many of you will join! Meanwhile, here are the posts of today.
