Kiko Holographic 400

Hello lovelies! How is everyone doing today? This week I've been working on my thesis and I'm so happy that it's almost finished. I can't wait for a few weeks of relaxation because these last months have been crazy. It's Friday so naturally I will be showing you something fun. I know the holographic collection from Kiko is long discontinued and I didn't want to post these swatches so you could hate me for it, but the polish was so beautiful that I just couldn't help myself. I hope you'll enjoy the pictures and won't be too mad at me.

Number 400, also known as Steel Grey, is the last of the three Kiko holo polishes I own. I've previously shown you 401 and 402 (click on the numbers to go to the posts). At first glance this polish looks like a basic silver holo but it's so much more. The holo effect is so unique and pretty that it makes it stand out. Like  with all the other Kiko holos, the effect is not quite linear and not quite scattered but somewhere in between.

Application is very easy and opacity is good. I didn't experience much of the dragging that usually occurs with holo polishes. The first coat seemed just a tad sheer at the tips so I did 2. But this polish has great pigmentation and is perfect for stamping (see this post). I used a coat of Seche Vite to make it extra glossy and I can assure you that it doesn't interfere with the beautiful rainbows.

I did this manicure the day before my last important exam. I needed something neutral on my nails but neutral is not really my thing. So I chose this one because from a distance it doesn't look bright, yet it's such a nice surprise, especially in the sun.

Can you believe how many colors this flashes? I love it so much! I will be forever thankful to Chiro for sending these my way. Thank you again!
