Hello my lovelies! It's Monday and that means I have some blue nails for you. You all know how much I love blue polish and how much I love studs. So you can imagine my excitement when I found out that the Born Pretty Store now carries bright colored studs. I immediately had to try these blue ones that they kindly sent for review.
The studs come in a little bag of 200 for a very affordable price. The only thing I don't like is the fact that the little bag is not very sturdy and can easily rip, causing the studs to fall out. I had to put mine in a little box in order not to lose them. A thing I really like about these is the fact that they can be reused after you take them off your nails. I created a very blue manicure using them.
For this manicure I used my favorite 2 techniques, tape and studs. I started with a base of S-he Stylezone 281 and a coat of Seche Vite to make it dry faster. In the meantime I made little tape triangles and stuck them at the base of the nail. I then painted a coat of GOSH Gypsy Blue on top and immediately removed the tape.
Finally, I used a toothpick and some top coat to place the studs on each nail. I finished everything with a coat of top coat.
The studs can be found here and there are 11 colors to choose from. If you wanna order some of these studs or other awesome nail art supplies from the Born Pretty Store, you can use the code MFL91 to get 10% off your order. Shipping is free!
