Hello my lovelies! Sorry I've been absent again. This week has been very busy with studying for my last med school exam that is tomorrow. I know I promised to post more but I just couldn't find the time and state of mind to write something up. Needless to say that nail pictures are piling up so I have a lot to show you. I will have my graduation on Saturday and hopefully things will slow down after that. Of course no matter how busy I may be, I always find time for Monday Blues. Today's beauty is another polish that is hard to photograph but I did my best.
Inglot 992 indoors, artificial light |
Ladies and gentlemen, my very first Inglot polish! I was excited a couple of weeks ago when a beauty expo was in town and the best thing in there was the Inglot booth. Of course I had to have one of their polishes even though they are crazy expensive. I'm a collector and I like to try all sorts of brands. I chose this beautiful blurple with a hint of purple iridescent shimmer. But as you all know, my camera hates purple so the shimmer didn't come properly out in any of my pictures. It's actually so tiny that it looks more like a purple flash when light hits the nails. It's very unique and pretty. I just wish you could see it better!

I was very surprised to see how tiny the Inglot brush is. I love skinny brushes and hate the wide ones, but this one is honestly the tiniest I have ever seen. It doesn't hold much product so you barely have to wipe it when you take it out of the bottle. The polish was on the sheerer side but it still got opaque in 2 coats. I suspect that this sheerness is intentional, to make the shimmer peek through, which is very ingenious in my opinion. I've been wearing this polish since Thursday and there's only a bit of tip wear so I would say the quality is great. The next picture is the one that shows the shimmer the best.

I'm really glad I got to try this brand. I just wish they had more reasonable prices cause I've seen a lot of pretty shades in the display. This one is such and unusual shade of blue. Speaking of which, if you wanna see more awesome blues check out the links below!
Check out the Monday Blues of July!
