Monday Blues: Zoya Sunshine

Hello my lovelies! It's the last day of September and frankly, I couldn't be happier that this dreadful month is over. Not that I'm a big fan of October, but this past month has been very hard for me. The weather outside is very cold and rainy like November anyway. To cheer you up I have some Sunshine for you. Zoya Sunshine that is.

A navy blue textured polish! Some of you might know that navy is my favorite polish color. It's the color I would choose if I had to wear one color for the rest of my life. So when I saw that Zoya was coming out with a textured polish in my favorite color, I knew it had to be mine. Sunshine is everything I expected and more. It's perfection!

Sunshine comes from the fall Pixie Dust collection and it's a navy blue textured polish with lots of silver shimmer. I'm not a fan of plain "creme" textured polishes, but the silver shimmer makes this look truly amazing. It actually looks a lot better in real life than in pictures. Here's how it looks in the sun.

The formula of this polish is amazing. It is on the thicker side and very pigmented, so you only need one coat to get it perfectly opaque. My pictures are all with one coat. I know a lot of people added a 2nd one just for good measure, but I wanted to show you that one coat really is enough. Plus it dries very fast too and lasts for ages on your nails. There really isn't anything bad to say about this polish.

I really hope Sunshine brightened your day! To see all of the Monday Blues from September check out the links below.

Have a great week!

I love navy blue polishes too! I agree... I don't like the creme textures either... I haven't tried any of the zoya textures yet... zoya is pretty hard to find here :( but maybe I will try to find some since people say they last a long time without chipping... I have a few OPI textures and they chipped really fast when I wore them :(

  4. Zoya is very hard to find here too. I payed a fortune for these, a lot more than they retail for in the US. I haven't tried any of the OPI ones so I can't really compare, but I haven't had any issues with the Zoya ones chipping on me. I've heard that people do kind of a sandwich to make these last longer. They do one coat of the polish, then one of top coat and then another one of the polish on top. That way you can keep the texture and make the manicure last longer with the top coat. Hope this helps!

  9. Wow, I need this! It's so beautiful. I loveee sparkly textured polishes. I'm not a huge fan of the creme textured look. But these are awesome. The only one I have from Zoya is Carter and I can't wait to wear it.
