Summer Gradient

Hello my lovelies and happy Sunday! The manicure I'm showing you today is really old. I think it's been almost two months since I did these nails and I wanted to post them but somehow I didn't have the time. It's a summer manicure so it doesn't really fit with the season. I don't know about you but I miss summer, so anything that reminds me of those warm days is a pleasure to look at.

This was another one of my attempts at gradient nails using acrylic paints over a white nail polish. I was actually very proud of how it came out, but I still ended up stamping some flowers on top because it was too simple.

For the stamping I used p2 Ocean Lady and plate FUN 2. I'm very pleased with how the p2 Volume Gloss polishes stamp and can't wait to try the new colors they brought out for fall. I also took some shots in the sun because it was brightly shining back when I did these nails.

All in all I think I'm finally not that bad at gradients. They can be done with polish as well as acrylic paint. Acrylic paint is definitely easier to clean up, but I think I prefer polish because of the wide color choice. Either way, this was my favorite gradient of the summer and I hope you like it too!

  3. I love this. You could just change up the flowers for leaves and this would be a fall mani even with the same colors.

  5. Thank you so much! It's easy to do, just like with polish. And it's easier to clean up afterwards.

  6. Thank you! That's a great idea! I realized recently that I don't own any leave stamps. Need to fix that!

  7. Thank you! Oh, I miss summer so much, mostly because I didn't get to do all the summer stuff. I was stuck at home studying all summer :(
