Born Pretty Store QA66 Stamping Plate Review

Hello my lovelies! It's Friday, so it's time for some fun nail art! I've got a great stamping plate from the Born Pretty Store to show you today. Tribal prints have been very popular this summer and since manicures always follow the trends there has been quite a lot of tribal nail art floating around. I've attempted to do freehand tribal designs a couple of times, but the results haven't been as crisp and clean as I would have liked. So when I saw this stamping plate, I knew I had to try it out.

Born Pretty Store plate QA66*

Plate QA66 is full of awesome designs. There are 4 full nail designs, measuring 1.6 x 1.3 cm, and a few smaller ones. There's something for everyone on this plate: tribal and geometric designs, butterflies and even an image with snowmen and snowflakes. There's also an image that can recreate the famous "spotted" effect (a little prettier than the OPI polish, in my opinion). All images stamp wonderfully. I swatched them all on a piece of paper using Konad Black.

Sorry for the weirdness of the picture above. I had to lighten it up because the paper looked yellow. Naturally, I had to create a tribal manicure using this plate. I did a gradient using 3 acrylic paints, then stamped the tribal image using Konad Black.

So there you go! Perfect tribal manicure with so little effort. This can also be stamped using multiple colors for an even better effect. On my left hand, I did the same gradient but stamped with the triangle image. Sorry for the awkward pose but my left hand isn't used to taking pictures.

Again, the image stamped perfectly. I'm very pleased with how well this plate works and the designs are just great. If you are interested in purchasing plate QA66 you can find it here for a great price. If you use code MFL91 at checkout you can get 10% your purchases. Don't forget that shipping is free!

Hope you've enjoyed this post! Thanks for reading!

  8. You are both right! I didn't think other people could see them, so I thought that maybe I was imagining things. Thanks for confirming it. I need to use that stamp in a manicure soon cause I think it's really pretty.
