Golden Rose Rich Color 34

Hello my lovelies! I have a very fall appropriate polish for you today. I didn't do any new Halloween nail art (besides the one from Monday), but I used a Halloween glitter and that has to count for something, right? First, let's see the main character of this post.

Golden Rose Rich Color 34 indoors, artificial direct light

Number 34 from the Rich Color line is a gorgeous shimmery burgundy. It's packed with shimmer, to the point where it almost looks metallic. It certainly has that warm, "lit from within" effect to it. Polishes like this only show their true beauty when light hits them, so all my pictures are in direct light or sun to catch a glimpse of the full effect.

The formula is easy to work with and it's pretty pigmented, although it does need 2 coats to become completely opaque. I love how fast these polishes dry. They remind me of China Glaze or OPI in terms of drying time. The brush is the only thing I don't like in this line.

I wore this on its own for a day and then decided I needed to use a Halloween glitter from last year so I just layered a coat on top. China Glaze Make a Spectacle is one of those iridescent glitters that look different depending on the base you layer them over. It looks great over dark colors, so of course it looked great over this one.

The only thing I didn't like about this combo is that it somehow made the polish underneath seem more brown and less burgundy. It was a great manicure nonetheless. I'm a big fan of the Rich Color line and I'm glad I found a polish that is so perfect for this season!
