Born Pretty Store QA71 Stamping Plate Review

Hello my lovelies! I hope your week is going great. Today's post is all about stamping nail art. I've already shown you some stamping plates from the Born Pretty Store, so it's no secret that they carry some great quality plates that are very affordable. The one I'm showing you today is from the QA range and is perfect for people with larger nail beds. It looks like this.

Born Pretty QA71 stamping plate (before removing the blue film)

QA71* is a hexagonal shaped stamping plate with 4 full nail designs and 4 smaller ones. The full nail designs are fairly large and have a rounded shape, which means they can fit on larger nails. They are about 21 mm long and 15 mm wide. I love the fact that these fit my thumb nail because most of the full nail images out there don't. You do need an XL stamper to fit the whole image because the standard sized ones are smaller. I swatched all the images on a piece of paper to show you that they all stamp well.

I only had a little trouble with the smaller images but I'm sure it was because I wasn't very careful with the stamping. These images gave me sort of a henna tattoo feel so I decided to create a manicure inspired by henna.

As a base I used Flormar 12 from the Quartz line. It's a nude creme that is very similar to my skin tone, which gives it that mannequin hands look. I applied 2 thicker coats to make this opaque and then stamped with Konad Black after it dried. I really liked this look on my short nails. I think it's the perfect way to jazz up a plain shade like this one without being too over the top.

This is the second QA plate I review and I'm very impressed with the quality of these. If you are interested in this particular one you can find it here. There are lots of other awesome plates in this collection so make sure to check them out. Don't forget to use code MFL91 at checkout to get 10% off your purchase.

Thanks for reading!

  1. Eu eram curioasa sa vad oja nude pe unghiile tale, este superba, iar modelul stampilat se potriveste de minune cu ea! Place, place, place :))

  2. I own a lot of their plates too, and I really love them. Only downside is that some full images are smaller then others and don't always fit my nailbeds...

  11. Yes, that's true for most of the plates. They usually fit my short nails but not my thumb nail. This one however has bigger images. I think they can fit larger nail beds too.

  13. Thank you! I agree. They are great, although they don't have a great lasting power.
