Born Pretty Store Square Glequins Review

Hello my lovelies! Boy am I glad that it's Friday today. I wish I could tell you how my first week at work was, but I wouldn't know where to start. What I can definitely tell you is that I'm very very tired. I really hope I get used to it in time because I hate not being able to do anything besides go to work the whole day. Doing my nails was not a priority this week, so I'm glad I have a few manicures in the vault to show you. Today's post is all about glequins aka the shiny glitter pieces that come in different shapes and sizes. I've already showed you hexagonal, diamond and round ones, but I couldn't stay away from this set of square glequins* from the Born Pretty Store

The set contains 12 little pots with different colors of square glequins. The colors are random but you do get a fair amount of variation in here. Mine had two types of gold, silver, copper, pinks, reds and last but not least, two shades of blue. I used the blue ones to create a checkered pattern on my nails. I just placed the two colors alternating them on each row. To see my original video tutorial for this type of glitter placement click here

I must admit that I wasn't very patient when doing these and that can be seen by the sloppy placement on some of the nails. I also skipped the cutting part on some of the edge pieces. These looked a lot better from a bit of a distance rather than in macro mode like this. I still enjoyed them a lot in real life though, even if I wasn't too happy with the pictures.

There are a lot of nail art looks that you can create with these and the color variety in the set makes them very versatile. If you are interested in this set you can find it here. Make sure you use code MFL91 at checkout to get 10% off your order. Shipping is always free!

I hope you've enjoyed this post. Thanks for stopping by!
