KBShimmer Green Hex and Glam

Hello my lovelies! It's Friday so it's time for some glitter! This is the third KBShimmer polish from my recent haul that I'm showing you. I've been wearing this beauty for the whole of last weekend and I absolutely loved it. It just doesn't get any sparklier than this!

Green Hex and Glam from the winter 2013 Blogger collection is the green version of my beloved I Got a Crush on Blue. I'm a big fan of green polish and of holographic glitter, so I'm really happy that there's a green version of this beauty out there. As usual with polishes like this one, it was impossible to capture the true beauty on camera but I did my best trying a bunch of different angles both in direct light and in the light box.

Green Hex and Glam consists of a green jelly base filled with different sizes of silver holographic hex glitter. The jelly base is very sheer so you either have to do 3 thicker coats or 4 thinner ones. I did 3 but I made them thicker than I normally do. The glitter wasn't too hard to get out and I managed to place at least one of the huge pieces on each nail. I would recommend rolling the bottle a lot before application or even shaking it if you are brave. I didn't notice any bubbles showing up in my polish after shaking it for a bit. Naturally, I applied this polish over a peel-off base coat so it was a breeze to remove.

These direct light pictures make it look darker than it actually is but they are so great at showing the holo effect in the glitters. Look at that rainbow!

I love the squishy look of the jelly and the way the glitters seem to be floating inside it. This polish is a jelly sandwich in a bottle. I think everyone needs a bottle of both this and I Got a Crush on Blue, especially if they love glitter. I'm very glad I have mine and will be treasuring them forever!
