Monday Blues: China Glaze Bahamian Escape

Hello my lovelies! I don't know about you but this daylight saving time thing has totally messed me up. So much that I completely forgot to schedule this post yesterday. So here it is, later than usual. It's the last day in March and spring is in full swing, which means bright happy colors are in order. The blue I'm showing you today is perfect for spring and summer. Check it out!

Isn't this the perfect bright blue creme? Bahamian Escape comes from the Bahama Blues collection from winter 2008, which means that it has the perfect creme formula of older China Glaze polishes. Sadly the latest collections haven't been that great in terms of formula so I prefer collecting older China Glaze polishes because they are amazing. I got this one thinking that it would be the perfect sky blue creme but I was surprised to see that it's darker and more saturated. It's such a gorgeous shade and I have nothing like it in my collection.

The formula was great, almost opaque in one coat. I did 2 to make it look perfect and also added some black round rhinestones at the base of the nail. I felt like adding something extra without overpowering the beauty of the polish. I think the black looks great against the bright blue background.

I just can't get enough of colors like this one, especially during this season. I can't wait to see the other Monday Blues of the day. You can check them out by clicking the links below.

Have a great week!

  2. What for a great and unusual shade of blue! *__* It looks even quite rubbery once dry (or is it just because of the light?) <3
