Monday Blues: Nails Inc Sweets Way

Hello my lovelies! I'm back from my trip and really glad to be home. I don't even mind that it's Monday today. As usual I have something blue to cheer us all up. The polish I'm showing you today comes from the Sprinkles collection from Nails Inc. It's not entirely blue but there's a lot of blue glitter in it so I think it still fits the theme. There's actually another polish in this collection that is entirely blue. I, however, prefer this one because it has a delicate pastel feel to it that is just lovely. Here's how it looks.

Sweets Way was kindly lent to me by my friend Kinga. Apparently she knows me very well because she was very inspired when she brought this one to me. I absolutely love it! It consists of a milky white base with small light blue, pink and silver glitter. The base is sheer enough to make the glitter visible but opaque enough to cover the nail. I personally love that it's not completely opaque. It kinda looks like a jelly sandwich and I think you all know how much I love those.

I think the number of coats needed for this depends on personal taste. The glitter comes out very easily so you don't have to worry about the amount you get on the nail. I chose to do 2 coats because I liked to have less glitter and more of the milky base on the nail. I think a third coat would make it look more like a glitter bomb and that wasn't what I was going for here. Naturally, since it's a glitter, I used a peel off base coat underneath to make removal easier.

I would love to own a polish like this, even if it would be a dupe of this one. As long as it has the pastel glitter in a milky base it's fine with me. I think this is perfect for spring. Not to mention that it's a more toned down way to wear glitter. I'm so glad I got to try this! Don't forget that you can check out the rest of the Monday Blues by clicking the links below.

Have a great week!
