Coffee and Cream

Hello my lovelies! I'm back from vacation but I'm still at home because I only start work on Monday. So I thought I should catch up on blogging and show you a manicure from a couple of months ago. I don't know why I didn't post this earlier, I guess I was just lazy as usual. This manicure comes from a week when I had the sudden urge to do water marbles. It only lasted for a few days but at least I did two separate manicures which is a lot, considering that water marbles are very frustrating. For this particular one I used a polish that I don't like that much as a full manicure on my nails. Luckily, it works great for marbling so I managed to use it like this.

The polish I'm talking about is a p2 polish from the Volume Gloss collection and it's called 150 Cute Girl. I won't show you the bottle because it had a little accident and the cap looks horrible. The polish itself is kinda hard to describe. It's somewhere between a nude and a taupe. The color is not flattering on my pale skin so I decided not to swatch it at all. Instead I picked a white polish and decided to marble with these two.

The p2 Volume Gloss polishes work great for water marbling and this one is no exception. I love the subtlety of this manicure and how the colors mix together. It kinda reminds me of the way the milk foam and the coffee mix in a cappuccino cup, hence the title of this post.

To be honest with you, I don't care too much for this polish, but I can't give it away because the bottle is ruined. I'm still happy that I found a way to use it and I guess I'm gonna keep it in my collection in the future for nail art purposes.
