I started with one coat of a-england Dancing with Nureyev and topped it off with some Seche Vite to make it dry faster. After it was dry I used striping tape to mask some intersecting lines and then applied a coat of Essie No More Film on top. I immediately removed the tape and finished everything with another coat of Seche Vite.
It's the first time I use this Essie polish and I must say that I love it. It's a dark blurple creme, just on the border between blue and purple. It's very similar to my beloved China Glaze Queen B and it's also a one coater, which is great. Somehow I don't mind having a dupe for Queen B in my collection. I know I'm gonna get plenty of use out of these polishes.
Needless to say that I really enjoyed wearing this manicure. I'm so happy with the way it came out and the perfect match between these two polishes. I hope you like my interpretation for plaid nails. And don't forget that you can see more blue nails by clicking the links below.
Have a great week!
Absolut superbe! Ce rau imi pare ca nu le-am vazut live. Combinatia de culori e minunata :) Sa nu-mi spui ca le-ai facut pe ambele maini :))
ReplyDeleteThese plaid nails turned out great! I haven't done a plaid design yet so I might have to give this a try.
