Monday Blues: Born Pretty Store Chevron Water Decals

Hello my lovelies! It seems that Monday is upon us again. But fear not cause I have some nail art to take your Monday Blues away. As promised, today I'm showing you the third and final way of achieving chevrons on your nails. After stencils and stamping, you can also have chevron nails by using these colorful water decals from the Born Pretty Store. Here's the look that I created using them.

The water decals come in a sheet with multiple rows of designs. You can find them here and they are pattern C072. I naturally chose the blue ones because I'm obsessed but there's also a green version. Here's how mine looked before I used them.

As a base color I used Barry M Huckleberry and then picked the blue and brown double chevron design to apply to my nails. I measured the sheet and divided it in little pieces the size of my nail. After the polish was completely dry, I submerged the little pieces into water. After a few seconds I was able to slide the decal from the backing and apply it to my nails. The length of the chevron was enough for one hand, so I used the mint and brown one for my other hand.

Depending on the base color and the design you use, these can create a very edgy look. I used these on every nail and my hands became pretty hypnotizing to people around me. I can't wait to use the multicolored chevrons to make them look even crazier. I would probably use those for an accent nail but it would still be fun.

Don't forget that you can use code MFL91 if you plan to place an order with the Born Pretty Store to get 10% off your order.
