Hello my lovelies! It's been a really busy week for me, hence the lack of posts. I would like to apologize for that. My plan is to create a 3 post/week schedule and write some posts in advance so there's no danger of not posting because of the lack of time. I just have to figure out the days for those posts (besides Monday, of course). I'll keep you posted on that! Meanwhile I have a really fun manicure to show you today. I've used an image from a plate that has been in my possession for years and years, without me figuring out that it looks like a fake water marble. I've used some of the images on this plate but not this one. After I saw it on my friend
Kinga's nails, I had to recreate the look. Of course I used different colors and her manicure is a lot better than mine, so make sure you check it out (click
here).
This manicure has all sorts of shimmer in it, so photographing it in my light box didn't work at all. I used direct light and did my best to capture the holo effect in the stamping. The base color is
China Glaze Bizarre Blurple, one of those special polishes that is perfect for fall. I'm so in love with it!
I stamped the fake water marble image from plate m78 using
Kiko 400 Steel Grey from the Holographic collection. It's perfect for stamping and I think the subtle scattered holo adds a little something extra to this manicure. Here's a shot that shows the holo in all its splendor.
I was extremely happy with these nails. Everything about them is great. The fact that a fake water marble can be achieved so easily is great. I have a few more ideas for this image so stay tuned. I hope they turn out well.
Awesome, and I clearly need to use my untried Bizarre Blurple!
ReplyDeleteLovely! This totally does look like a water marble manicure too.
