Monday Blues: Kiko 465

Hello my lovelies! Another weekend is over and this time it was a very relaxing one for me. I'm full of energy and ready to start the week. Winter is almost here, which makes me happy because I like winter a lot better than autumn. But first I have the last Monday Blue of November to show you. I haven't shown a matte polish on the blog in a long time and I decided to show you one I purchased this summer. They are perfect for autumn in my opinion. Here's what I'm talking about.

Number 465 from the Kiko Denim collection is also called British Jeans. What is interesting about this polish and what made me buy it is the tiny shimmer that is more visible in the bottle than on the nail. The finish is matte but not completely. There's a bit of shine to it, which makes for the denim effect that gave the name to this collection.

The formula of this polish is quite thick and pigmented, so one coat is enough to make it opaque. The only downside to this is that you can see some of the ridges in my nails because of the fact that I used just one coat and no top coat. It's not as bad in real life as it looks in the pictures though. The polish dries very fast, which is always great considering you can't add a fast drying top coat. Here's a direct light picture that shows the shimmer better.

I didn't wear this as a full manicure so I can't comment on the durability. What I can warn you about is that because of the great pigmentation it stains, so make sure you use plenty of base coat underneath. Other than that, it's a great polish with and interesting finish and I'm happy to have it in my collection.
