Ciaté Antique Brooch

Hello my lovelies! Sorry for the lack of posts this week but it's been a crazy one again. I'm finally getting some rest this weekend and catching up on life. I haven't done a proper Christmas themed manicure yet this year so I hope I can get on that tonight. Since I don't have a holiday manicure to show you I decided to post some pictures that have been sitting in my folders for ages. These nails look kinda festive in my opinion. I know that the brand Ciaté is kind of a controversial one but I won't get into that. This polish is truly beautiful and that's the only thing I care about.

Antique Brooch is a very special kind of glitter. There are gold and rose gold pieces of different sizes that are pretty densely packed in the clear base. I tried to use it for a glitter gradient but it turned out to be more opaque than I expected so it covered the tips completely. I wasn't that happy with the result but I decided to post it anyway.

The polish I used as a base is M112 from Flormar. It's one of those colors that looks more purple or burgundy depending on the light. I thought it would look great with this glitter and it turned out they were a perfect match. Here's how these nails looked in direct light.

I really loved this glitter, even though the gradient didn't turn out as I expected. I'd like to thank the lovely Kinga for allowing me to try it out. I will definitely be looking for a similar one to purchase for myself.
