Hello my lovelies! Can you believe this week is almost over? Christmas went by so fast! I'm looking forward to the new year and a fresh start. Today was a good day because when I woke up this morning everything was covered in snow. It was the first proper snow of this year and even though it started to melt immediately there is still some left as I'm writing this. To go with that I'm gonna show you a manicure I wore last week. It was actually a recreation of my snowflake sandwich using a nude jelly. Here's how it looks.
As you can see, my nails were really short when I wore this manicure. They were going through a rough time so I shortened them a lot to start fresh. I think the sheer nude goes great with this length because there's not much of a free edge to be seen through the polish if it's not completely opaque.
I really loved the blue snowflake sandwich and couldn't help but create a very similar manicure using a different jelly. The one I used is Essence Give Me Nude, Baby!, a very light nude jelly. I stamped using the same snowflake images from plates BP-01, BM-319 and M59 using a-england Excalibur. I also used a bit of Barry M Diamond Glitter to fill in the space between the snowflakes. The only difference is that I didn't use white for stamping because there wouldn't have been any contrast with the jelly.
I did my best to photograph these but I can assure you that they were a lot better in real life. I still hope you like them as much as I did. I wish you all a great weekend and please enjoy these holidays as much as you can!
