Monday Blues: ILNP Summer Stargazing

Hello my lovelies! I've been a really bad blogger last week but I feel like I'm always making excuses so I'm gonna leave it at that and hope that I will post more in the following weeks. It's Monday and the sun is shining. I feel very energized and ready for new challenges. To go with the spring sun, I have a beautiful holographic nail polish to show you. It comes from I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) and I got to try it out courtesy of my good friend Kinga. Let's take a look!

ILNP Summer Stargazing indoors, artificial direct light

Summer Stargazing from the Summer 2014 ILNP collection is an electric blue scattered holo. Depending on the light, it can have a bit of a purple hint but it's definitely blue. The holo effect is visible when light hits it but it's pretty hard to photograph. Luckily, we had tons of sun in the past days so I managed to get a few shots.

The consistency of this polish is on the thicker side but I did thinner coats so I needed 2 to make it completely opaque. It does dry really fast so you need to be careful not to experience any dragging. Of course I added a coat of Seche Vite to make it extra shiny.

As I mentioned before, the holo effect is a lot stronger in person than it comes out in pictures. It's still very pretty though so please enjoy!
