Hello my lovelies! Long time, no post, right? I've had a very busy week at work and can't wait to enjoy the great weather this weekend. I'm excited to ride my bike this afternoon but first I have a manicure to show you. It's been a long time since I've had these pictures on my computer so it was high time for me to show them to you. Here we go!

Essie Mind Your Mittens indoors, artificial light |
Mind Your Mittens comes from the Winter 2013 collection from Essie. It's a dark teal creme that is right up my alley. Many people describe this as teal blue but for me it doesn't quite look like that. Therefore I decided not to post it for Monday Blues. I'm a big fan of vampy shades like this so even though it's spring I still like to look at this pretty. It went on nicely and I used two coats to make it perfectly opaque.

As you can see, I added a little something extra to the polish to make it look a bit more spring appropriate. These are some water decals from the
Born Pretty Store that my friend
Kinga gave to me. They are multicolored and need a neutral base because otherwise they would look like too much. This polish was perfect for that.

I'm sure this polish is gonna be one of my favorites for fall and winter. Meanwhile it's great as a base for crazy colored nail art. Essie always makes the best cremes. They have amazing formulas and the colors are beautiful. Love them!
Those floral decals really pop against the dark blue.
ReplyDeleteThey do! I love it!
ReplyDeleteOja e foarte frumoasa, chiar daca e putin inchisa pt mine. Nu stiam ca si cei de la BP au florile astea. Eu le-am luat din piata marasti. Arata extraordinar pe baza asta!
