Monday Blues: Perfect S31

Hello my lovelies! It's the first and wintriest Monday in April, which makes me not want to get out of bed. Well technically I'm not in bed while I'm writing this as it's still Sunday night, but I know the feeling I will have in the morning. Nothing like a nice blue nail polish to bring our spirits up on such a gloomy day. My nails have grown a little since I nubbinized them so I managed to paint them with a beauty that was recently gifted to me. Take a look!

This loveliness has come to me all the way from Bulgaria. A good friend of mine went there last week and brought me a couple of local polishes from a brand named Perfect. Don't you just love it when you have friends that know you so well? She knew I was a collector of unusual brands so she bought me something I didn't have in my collection. Plus it's blue glitter! What can be better than that?

I don't know much about this brand and the bottle didn't help me either. After turning it on all sides I managed to find out that this shade is S31. I did a lot of research but didn't find their official website and the fact that most of the writing uses the Cyrillic alphabet didn't help either. I gave up and let the polish speak for itself. What we have here is a dark blue jelly base that is filled with blue, silver and turquoise glitter. Unfortunately the turquoise didn't translate very well on camera but I can assure you it's visible in real life. The consistency was on the thicker side but I settled for 3 thin coats to make it look good. It dried to a semi-matte finish so I added a coat of Seche Vite which also took care of the unevenness and made my nails nice and smooth.

This polish is incredibly beautiful, interesting and unique. The formula is not perfection but for the price it's more than ok. These polishes retail for around 1 Euro in Bulgaria. If you ever get the chance you should definitely try them out. Make sure you check out the rest of today's Monday Blues by clicking the links below!

Have a great week!

  4. Wow. Arata minunat! Se vede si turquoise-ul, mai ales in sticluta. Ma asteptam sa ne arati si o poza cu restul ojelor cadou. Le tii secrete?
