Layla Ceramic Effect 103

Hello my lovelies! Another workweek is over and I'm tired as usual. Luckily, it's gonna be a quiet weekend for me so I will have time to get some rest. I haven't done my nails very often lately but I still have a few older manicures to show you. This particular one was done with a polish that isn't mine but I got to borrow and try out. It's perfect for spring, but I think it's great for summer as well.

Layla Ceramic Effect 103 Soft Fruits indoors, artificial light

Number 103, also called Soft Fruits (the name is not on the bottle), from Layla's Ceramic Effect line is a lilac jelly with tons of white glitter. This polish comes from a collection called Ceramic Sorbet which contains 5 other colors with a similar finish. I would say that the name is very appropriate because this totally reminds me of ice cream. It came out a bit more pink than it is in real life, but the difference isn't that big.

The formula is very nice but quite sheer because of the light color and because it needs to let the glitter shine through. You will probably need 3 coats to make it look good but application is a breeze so you won't feel the extra coat. The glitter shows up instantly on the nail and you don't have to fish for it. Drying time is ok but I added a coat of Seche Vite anyway.

This is a really nice polish, especially for spring and the warm season. You should also check out the other colors in the collection because they are all great. I'm not sure if this is still available or it was LE because I don't have access to the Layla brand in my country. If you do have this brand in your country, you can look for these and pick some up because you will surely enjoy them.
