I'm aware that this manicure isn't perfect but I still like it and hope you will too. Again I went with the lead lighting technique because I'm obsessed with it. It's really easy to create and looks quite elaborate even though it is not. These chevrons were particularly easy to paint because they are quite wide, so you don't have to be that precise to stay in the lines.
I started with a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, my current go-to white base. I then stamped a chevron image from plate BP-L006 from the Born Pretty Store using Konad Black. Using a dotting tool, I painted the white chevrons with two of my home made sheer tints and finished everything with a coat of Seche Vite. So easy!
I've worn this manicure for most of the weekend but I must admit that it didn't last very well. It was fun while it lasted though. I can't get enough of lead lighting manicures but who can blame me? They are truly amazing! Don't forget that you can use code MFL91 to get 10% off your Born Pretty Store order. And make sure you check the rest of today's Monday Blues in the links below!
Have a great week!
