Monday Blues: Perfect S33

Hello my lovelies! I have survived another Monday at work. I apologize for my absence but I've been working like crazy last week and even part of the weekend, so blogging was the last thing on my mind. My nails are in terrible shape so I had to shorten them to nubs. But since I didn't have anything prepared for today, I have to show you my current manicure. Hope you won't mind that my nails are so short. At least it's glitter I'm showing you and glitter looks better on short nails.

Some of you might remember that a few months ago a friend of mine went to Bulgaria and brought me back a couple of polishes from the brand Perfect, a local brand that was new to my collection. I posted about the first one, S31, back then and I still owed you the pictures for the other one. So here it is. The number on the bottle is a little scratched and after a lot of research I came to the conclusion that this one is S33. I really hope I'm not wrong.

S33 consists of a sheer blue jelly base that contains two sizes of blue and silver glitter. It's similar in color to my beloved China Glaze Dorothy Who? but that one doesn't have the larger glitter pieces. The base is pretty sheer and I'm not sure how many coats it would take to make it opaque. I used a coat of China Glaze Flyin' High as a base under two coats of the glitter. It applied nicely and dried pretty even, so one coat of Seche Vite was enough to achieve a nice and shiny finish.

Glitter is always the right choice when you need a fast and easy manicure. And if it's blue, then it's absolutely perfect. I really love this polish on my very short nails. Don't forget to check out the rest of the Monday Blues in the links below!

Have a great week!
