Monday Blues: Blue Stars

Hello my lovelies! I can't believe it's the last Monday of August, which means summer is coming to an end. It's been a great one though and I'm trying to stay positive about the arrival of fall. As I'm typing this it's still very hot where I live and I'm leaving for a trip to the seaside tomorrow, so fall can wait a little longer. But first let me show you the manicure I wore on my previous trip, a very summery one indeed.

The combination of cobalt blue and white is one that I used for a Monday Blues from a few weeks ago. I didn't get to keep that manicure for very long and I promised myself that I would recreate it because I loved it so much. I decided to change the design and the base polish so I could show it to you in a new post. And this is the result.

I used the famous Nails Inc Baker Street as a base and stamped an image from plate BP-L008 from the Born Pretty Store using Konad White. I know I didn't do a great job at centering the image on all the nails but in my defence, it's pretty hard to do. This design looks like a star to me, hence the name of this post.

I wore this manicure for a week with only some tip wear on a few nails. Of course I loved how it looked and I got a lot of compliments for it. I'm so glad it held on so well!
