Monday Blues: A-england Spirit of the Moors

Hello my lovelies! It's a great Monday in my neck of the woods because it's a national holiday. On top of that, tomorrow is my birthday and it's also a holiday. I've been waiting for this 4 day weekend for quite some time now because I was in desperate need of a holiday. So of course I have to show you what my nails have been sporting during this weekend. It's a polish that has been gifted to me by my amazing friend Kinga, along with two other A-england beauties. It's one of the latest additions to the A-england family and looks like this.

Spirit of the Moors is a bright blue scattered holo in the A-england tradition. The color is just beautiful and reminds me of a cobalt blue, but with tons of tiny silver sparkles in it. The holo effect is quite subtle and I couldn't catch it in my photos, even though I used direct light. Unfortunately, there wasn't any sun for me to take pictures in. I did my best to make it look as accurate as possible and I altered the pictures a bit to make that happen.

The formula was thinner than other similar A-england shades that are usually one-coaters. I think it's because of the nature of this pigment. It's still opaque in two coats though and dries fast, so I don't mind it that much. I added a coat of Seche Vite to make it extra shiny and long lasting.

This has easily entered my top 10 of favorite polishes of all time. I just couldn't take my eyes off it when I first put it on. I'd like to thank Kinga again for giving it to me. It was the perfect birthday gift! Don't forget to check out the rest of the Monday Blues of this month in the links below!

Have a great week!
