This polish comes from the Born Pretty Store and you can find it here. I actually did try out one of their thermal polishes a few years ago. I picked the blue one but they told me it was out of stock, so I ended up receiving the yellow to green one. The packaging was different back then so I'm not sure if the formula of that particular polish changed too, but it had a weird consistency. I'm happy to say that the blue one I got to try now is not like that.
What we have here is a thermal color changing nail polish that looks purple when cold and blue when warm. It looks purple in the bottle but immediately becomes blue when you spread it on the nail, unless you have cold hands, of course. I really like that the color shifts extremely quick. It instantly becomes purple if you stick your hand in cold water. It also has a nice formula and becomes opaque with two easy coats. I did get a few bubbles after it dried, but top coat took care of them entirely. I really loved the stamping Kinga did over this, so I chose a similar geometrical image from plate CH9 from the first Cheeky set and stamped it using Konad Black.
This polish makes me want to try out some more thermal polishes. It's so much fun! It's like having a gradient on your nails almost all the time because the nail bed is warm and the tips are cold. I just love playing with it! Don't forget that you can check out the rest of the Monday Blues in the links below!
Have a great week!
