Damask Dream

Hello my lovelies! It's Saturday and that means it's time for a new post on the blog. I kept the habit of writing one every Saturday since the beginning of the year, which is really great because I haven't posted so much on the blog in a long while. I've also been doing my nails more often and buying new nail stuff, so there's a lot I need to show you. One of the newest additions to my collection are 3 of the Moyra stamping plates. These have been around for a few months now, but there aren't many reviews online, so I wasn't sure what I got into when I first ordered them. They were quite affordable though, so I didn't mind doing a bit of gambling. Luckily, they are quite great and I'm very happy with them. I will talk about them more extensively in a future review. But until then, I have a manicure I created using one of the plates. Enjoy!

As a base for this manicure, I used a polish that has been gifted to me by the lovely Andrea from Colour Your Life. It's called Plum Luck and comes from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure line. This is a lovely dark plum creme that looks a bit more burgundy on me because of my cool skin tone. It's one of those vampy shades that I like so much. It applies easily in two coats and dries quickly to a shiny finish.

I used stamping plate 11 from Moyra, also called Damask Drapery, for the nail art. This is a plate full of amazing damask patterns (more on that in a future review). I used China Glaze Passion for the stamping and it worked like a dream. I swear that this is one of the quickest nail art looks I've ever created!

I don't know about you but I'm crazy about patterns like this one. I could easily wear this type of manicure all the time. That's why I'm so happy that this stamping plate exists. I really hope you like these nails as much as I do! Have a great weekend!
