The idea for this manicure came from a nail art wheel that I recently received from LadyQueen for review. It contains different shapes of silver and gold studs. There are stars, hearts, flowers, squares and circles, but my favorites are the seashells. There are 6 shapes of studs and you can find 5 of each shape in silver and gold, making it a total of 60 pieces in the nail wheel. It looks like this. You can see that the studs all have a texture that makes them even more interesting.
I started with a base of Essie In the Cab-ana, the perfect turquoise creme. On top of that I stamped a seashell image from plate CH38 from the Cheeky summer set using Kiko 624 Sky Blue. I applied a seashell stud on each accent nail using just Seche Vite. I wanted to use nail glue but mine dried out so I used two coats of top coat to make the stud adhere properly. I was sure that it wouldn't hold but so far it's been going strong and doesn't seem to budge.

I really hope you enjoyed these nails as much as I do. They take my Monday Blues away in an instant. And if you still need cheering up you can check out the rest of this month's blues in the links below.
Have a great week!
