Monday Blues: Blue Paisley

Hello my lovelies! It's a pretty hot Monday in my neck of the woods, but it's still cooler than the last week has been. I'm done with work and it seems that there's a storm coming, so I'm very happy about that. Meanwhile I'm going to show you a manicure that I've been wearing and enjoying for a few days now. It's perfect for spring and summer because of the periwinkle theme it has. Take a look!

If you've been following my blog for a while now you might know that I'm a big fan of the paisley print. I couldn't resist buying a stamping plate that I've seen around, one that is full of paisley print. I got mine from Ebay, but I know it can be found in a few other places too. They are the Flower plates and this particular one is Flowers-14. I stamped different areas from the plate using Mundo de Unas White on my nails, so the fingers look different from each other.

The base for the stamping is another one of those squishy manicures that are done with the stamper. The colors I used are pretty close to each other, so it's hard to see them in the photos, but they create a nice effect in real life. I only used Barry M polishes this time: Eat my Dust (light periwinkle), Prickly Pear (lilac) and Blueberry (cornflower blue). They are all more or less pastels, so they create a nice watercolor effect.

I'm really happy that my nails are long and strong again. I feel like there's more space for nail art if my nails are a little longer, without them being extra scary. I really hope you like these. Make sure you check out the rest of today's Monday Blues in the links below!

Have a great week!
