Monday Blues: Turquoise Tapestry

Hello my lovelies! After a rainy weekend comes a rainy Monday. I can't complain because at least the rain made the weather cool off a bit. To fight the gloominess that everybody is feeling today, I have created some bright summer nails using a polish that I really missed using. Here's what came out!

The polish I'm talking about is OPI I Can't Find my Czechbook, the only Euro Centrale polish I own. I'm pretty disappointed by that collection in the end, but this polish is really nice and I'm glad I got it. The color is beautiful and the formula is great, so it's opaque in two easy coats.

As you can see, I had to shorten my nails because they were starting to break. I do enjoy them this way though and I think this color looks so much better on short nails. I added some stamping from Moyra plate 19 Maharaja using Mundo de Unas White on top of the lovely color. I used two similar images to create a sort of mirror accent nail. I'm very happy to report that I didn't have any issues using this stamping polish because it dries slow so it doesn't dry in the pretty shallowly etched designs on the plate before you can pick it up. It worked great!

I really missed wearing a color like this one on my nails. The white intricate stamping makes it look so much more sophisticated. I hope you love it as much as I do! Don't forget to check out the rest of today's Monday Blues in the links below!

Have a great week!
