Monday Blues: Fall Roses

Hello my lovelies! It seems that time is flying by because September is almost over. The past week has been quite cold where I live, so the autumn feeling can't be avoided anymore. This time I got inspired by tones of grey and I added some double stamping to spice things up a bit. This is what came out.

I started with a base of China Glaze Intelligence, Integrity and Courage, a grey creme with blue undertones. It has a nice formula and applies evenly in two easy coats. Then I stamped the barbed wire image from plate BM-323 using p2 Ocean Lady. This design is kind of weird because you can't really tell that it's barbed wire. I wanted something edgy and this is the only image I found in my collection so I just went with it.

I then wanted to add some roses on top but the rose image on that same plate was a little owerwhelming because it's a full nail image. Instead I used a single rose from plate BP-03 from the Born Pretty Store and stamped it with Mundo de Unas White. I really like the final result.

These nails are perfect for fall in my opinion. They are elegant, edgy and interesting. I really hope you like them too! Don't forget to check out the rest of this month's Monday Blues in the links below!

Have a great week!
