I don't know if many of you remember a company called Eyeko that used to produce nail polish. Well the company still exists today but they gave up nail polish a long time ago to focus on eye makeup. Every once in a while I get a reminder of how stupid that was, because I loved their polish and I still have a few of them in my collection. The one that I used as a base for today's manicure is called Rain and it's a grey blue with tiny silver shimmer. I think it's similar to China Glaze Sea Spray and Essie Sag Harbor, although I don't own those so I can't really make a comparison.
After two coats of Rain, I decided to add the other colors using the dry brush technique. I used China Glaze Queen B, Aura Inches 331 Blue Label and Flormar M112 to create a random brush stroke pattern that looks like a rich fall watercolor. I'm in love with how these colors look together!
My nails are finally getting longer, although I feel like they are going to break soon. Until then I will enjoy this manicure and hope that it will last as much as possible. Hope you enjoyed this and that it took some of your Monday Blues away. Don't forget that you can check out more beautiful blue manicures by clicking the links below!
Have a great week!
