Hello my lovelies! Today I'm happy to announce that I'm already on holiday. Not much to do but relax and enjoy myself for two weeks. I know not everyone is as fortunate as I am so of course I have a blue polish to cheer you up if you still have to go to work. It's been a while since I purchased a China Glaze polish, but even though it's my favorite brand I try to limit my purchases since I already have a huge collection. With this polish it was love at first sight and I had to get myself a bottle eventually. I was happy to see that it's so much better in real life than it shows up in pictures. My pictures don't do it justice at all so, I will try to compensate with words.

China Glaze Blue-Ya! indoors, artificial direct light |
Blue-Ya! comes from the China Glaze Rebel collection for fall 2016. It consists of a dark blue jelly that is packed with light blue and green shimmer. The green shimmer doesn't show up in pictures and I'm not talking about my pictures. I have not seen a swatch that shows that beautiful shimmer in all its glory. That's why you will have to trust me when I tell you that this polish is amazing in real life.

The dark blue jelly is sheer enough to allow the shimmer to shine through while still being opaque in two coats. Application was really nice and it dried fast to a pretty shiny finish. I added a coat of Seche Vite to make it extra shiny and make it last longer. I took all my pictures in direct light to show the shimmer properly.

This type of polish is perfect for the winter season and I wouldn't mind having it on my nails for New Year's. It's dark and elegant but sparkly at the same time. Perfect combo! Make sure you check out the rest of this month's Monday Blues by clicking the links below!
Have a great week and happy holidays!
