Monday Blues: Spring Mood

Hello my lovelies! The past week hasn't looked like spring at all in my neck of the woods, so I was feeling kinda down the last few days. I decided to cheer myself up with some bright nails and I came up with something really simple but fun. Unfortunately my camera didn't like me much yesterday and the pictures came out a little funny looking. I hope you don't mind it much and will still enjoy the nails!

The polish I used as a base is Wet n' wild I need a Refresh-Mint from the Megalast line. It's a gorgeous turquoise creme that goes on like butter. My original post showing this polish made it look more blue, but I think this one is closer to how it looks in real life. It's a little darker and brighter in reality, but other than that the shade is pretty close. It's definitely one of those polishes that makes you think of sunny times.

On top of it I used a fun image from Moyra plate 24 Primavera. I really wanted to use this plate because it's so season appropriate. The pattern I chose is full of flowers, butterflies and leaves. I'm not sure if you can see it on my middle finger but there's even the outline of a bunny on there. I used Mundo de Unas White for the stamping.

These nails immediately cheered me up. Luckily the sun has returned to us as well, so I couldn't be happier. I hope that you are having great weather wherever you are. Don't forget to check out the rest of this month's Monday Blues in the links below!
